Threading Training

Threading has been around for many centuries but has gained in popularity over the past few years. Threading is a temporary form of hair removal similar to plucking. With low start up costs, many salons are now seeing the benefit of offering this sought after service to their clients. Louise Walsh who has been teaching since 1999 and holds the respected Cert Ed qualification and teaches all Threading Courses. Our course consists of a theory and practical assessment at the end of the session. By the end of the course you will be able to: Show an understanding of the history of Threading List the factors that affect hair growth Recognise abnormal hair growth and possible reasons Explain the structure of the hair and the hair follicle Discuss the three stages of hair growth List the contra-indications to the treatment Carry out a consultation with the client and give advice on Threading and alternative hair removal methods Design a perfect set of brows Perform an eyebrow tidy with thread Give appropriate homecare and aftercare advice. Fees include tuition, thread and certification per student. Examples of our rates are shown below - quotes on request (please state numbers requiring training plus location where the training is to take place) Intensive 1 to 1 training £175 at our Norwich base (student needs to supply model) Intensive 2 to 1 training £250 at our Norwich base Off-site training from £250 ( email or call for a quote) Inner London Training from £250 (minimum charge) for the 1st student plus additional students @ £75 per student (email or call for a quote) FE and Adult Education (minimum of 6 students) £75 per student (travel charges may apply)
